Quiénes Somos
Tras el éxito de público y crítica del largo documental Sanfermines 78 (2003), lo que antes era un grupo de profesionales amantes del cine y la creación con amplia experiencia individual se transforma en una estructura empresarial colectiva. Entran en contacto con un grupo de creadores gráficos y profesionales de la educación y la perspectiva de género con los que ya habían colaborado. Juntos crean Smiz & Píxel para compartir y ampliar los recursos técnicos y creativos abarcando así el sector gráfico, el audiovisual y el educativo. Con un objetivo: crear una red para abordar proyectos relacionados con la imagen, el pensamiento y la formación.
Qué Hacemos
Desde el 2003 hemos abarcado distintos formatos y entrado en contacto con distintos profesionales. De manera que hemos desarrollado tres líneas de trabajo.
Proyectos propios de ficción y documental. Nos interesa una mirada que compagine entretenimiento, rigor, pulso, ritmo, sensibilidad y un planteamiento intelectual diferente.
Proyectos de educativos. Nos interesa el aprendizaje poniendo a disposición de éste los recursos y la narrativa audiovisuales. Las historias nos ayudan a conocer, descubrir y repensar el mundo que nos rodea.
Trabajos de encargo de imagen y sonido. Nos interesan las posibilidades expresivas que cada formato ofrece (fotografía, viral o documental) y sacarle partido al juego de la narrativa fílmica y la imagen fija. Todo siempre cuenta algo. Son varias las formas de hacerlo pero siempre hay una mejor.
Who We Are
After the highly acclaimed documentary film Sanfermines 78 (2003), what was before a group of professionals and cinema lovers with a wide individual experience came together to create a collective business structure. For this purpose they joined forces with a group of graphic designers with whom they had already worked previously. Together they build up Smiz & Pixel to share, expand and optimize technical and creative resources to cover both the graphic and audiovisual areas. With one objective: to create a network of professionals that could tackle any project dealing with imager, thought and education.
What We Do
Since 2003 we have covered different formats and we have got in touch with many professionals from different areas dealing with image, culture and social intercession. So as we have developped three lines of work:
Fiction and documentary projects We are interested in a way of glanzing that shares entertainment, rigor, pulse, rhythm, sensibility and an original intellectual approach.
Educational projects. Audiovisual, genre and culture. We are interested in the art of teaching through fiction and training courses. Many of the members of Smiz & Pixel share their profession with the world of education.
Audiovisual works by assignment. We are very interested by the expressive possibilities that every format offers (music video, virals or documentaries) and to make the most of film narrative. Everything is always telling us something. There are many ways to do things but there is always one best.
